That Metal Coach / Legal

Terms of Service

Important information about using our website and participating in online fitness coaching.

Last updated: 9 October 2026

These Terms of Service apply to the That Metal Coach website and describe general conditions for our online coaching services. Clients may also be required to sign a separate coaching and payment agreement. Where the two documents differ on a client's specific programme, price, commitment or payment arrangements, the signed agreement will govern to the extent permitted by applicable law.

01 / Scope & Acceptance

That Metal Coach, operated by That Metal Coach ("we", "us" or "our"), provides online fitness coaching and related information. By accessing this website, you agree to use it lawfully and in accordance with these terms. Applying for coaching does not, by itself, establish a coaching relationship or a payment obligation.

02 / Coaching Services

Online coaching is designed to provide personalised training guidance, support and accountability. Depending on the programme agreed with a client, services may include training plans, progress tracking, messaging support and educational resources.

Programme features, availability, communication arrangements and coaching deliverables will be explained during enrollment or in the client's individual coaching agreement.

03 / Enrollment & Individual Agreements

Coaching is subject to acceptance into a programme and completion of any required onboarding, health questionnaires and individual agreements. We may decline an application when a programme is unsuitable or capacity is unavailable.

Any specific commitments, recurring payment authorisations or other obligations requiring individual consent will be set out in the agreement presented to the client before enrollment.

04 / Coaching Fees & Payments

Coaching fees depend on the programme and arrangements selected and will be communicated before enrollment. We reserve the right to change advertised prices, programme fees and service offerings. Changes to fees already agreed with an existing client will be communicated in advance and handled in accordance with that client's agreement and applicable law.

Where a client authorises recurring payments, these will be collected using the method and billing schedule agreed during enrollment. Clients are responsible for maintaining valid payment arrangements.

If a payment fails or is declined, the client will be notified and is expected to resolve the outstanding payment within five (5) days, as provided in the standard coaching agreement. Coaching access, communication and programme updates may be suspended while payment remains overdue, subject to applicable law and the client's agreement.

05 / Commitment, Cancellation & Refunds

Our standard online coaching agreement provides for an initial minimum commitment of six (6) months. Under that agreement, clients who choose to end coaching during the minimum term remain responsible for the balance of the agreed commitment, subject to any mandatory cancellation rights or other applicable legal protections.

After the initial term, the standard agreement continues on a rolling monthly basis and provides for cancellation with at least thirty (30) days' written notice before the next billing date. Cancellation requests should be sent to shayan@thatmetalcoach.com.

Any refunds, exceptions, statutory cooling-off rights or alternative cancellation arrangements will be determined by the individual agreement and applicable law. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

06 / Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information relevant to coaching.
  • Communicate honestly about progress, injuries, health concerns and physical limitations.
  • Follow training guidance to the best of their ability while exercising their own judgement about safety.
  • Take responsibility for their own participation, health and wellbeing.
  • Keep account access and personalised programme materials secure.

07 / Health & Exercise Disclaimer

Physical exercise involves inherent risks, including injury. Before beginning or changing an exercise programme, clients should seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional if they have any medical condition, injury, symptoms or concerns about their ability to exercise safely.

That Metal Coach provides fitness coaching and general educational guidance, not medical diagnosis, treatment or professional medical advice. Clients should stop exercising and seek appropriate medical attention if they experience concerning symptoms. Clients must not disregard professional medical advice because of coaching or website content.

08 / Results Disclaimer

Individual outcomes vary according to factors including consistency, training adherence, nutrition, recovery, lifestyle and personal circumstances. We do not guarantee any specific weight loss, muscle gain, physical transformation or other result. Testimonials and transformation images illustrate individual experiences and do not promise equivalent outcomes.

09 / Assumption of Risk & Liability

Clients acknowledge that exercise carries inherent risks and are responsible for informing us of relevant limitations and deciding when to seek medical guidance. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses arising from misuse of training information or a client's failure to disclose relevant health concerns.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted. Any other limitation of liability applies only where fair and legally enforceable.

10 / Website Use & Intellectual Property

Website copy, branding, images, videos and original coaching materials are owned by That Metal Coach or used with permission. They may not be reproduced, redistributed, sold or commercially exploited without permission, except as permitted by law.

Clients may use materials supplied to them for their own personal training unless their individual agreement states otherwise. You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access or interfere with its operation. External links are provided for convenience and do not imply endorsement.

11 / Personal Information

We may collect information submitted through applications, enquiries and coaching communications to assess suitability, respond to requests and provide services. Health-related information should be shared only through the requested coaching channels. We handle personal information in accordance with applicable data protection requirements. Additional information about data collection, use, retention and individual rights should be provided in our separate Privacy Policy.

12 / Changes to These Terms

We may update these public Terms of Service as our website and services evolve. The revised terms will be posted here with an updated date. Changes will not automatically override an existing signed coaching agreement or remove rights protected by applicable law.
